Gluten free food

We at Homemade passion for food pride ourselves in having the time to listen to our customers. On New Years eve in 2009 we were contacted by a member of public enquiring whether we provide any Gluten free food. As a result we researched the subject and realised that we had an advantage over other High street outlets because the majority of our produce is made at our site in Swinton we believed we could provide that service to this customer.

We introduced a Hot Daily Special which was very slow to sell in the early days. So we decided we needed to find more customers who would want a Gluten free range. In the mean time we made sure that all our staff received training on the needs and requirements of customers who follow a Gluten free life style. Download guidelines here

Since the early days we have developed the menu and we have now introduced Gluten free cakes and we are developing our Pie range. Successful pies already served include Cheese, Potato and Meat and Hot pot.
We have noticed recently that due to the success of our Gluten free pie range that some customers are buying in large numbers. We welcome that but would always ask that you make a call in advance of your visit or use our contact page to ensure that we have sufficient products for your needs. We ask this because we operate a just in time programme which allows us to ensure the quality of the product.

Wheat free products.

We always try to accommodate all requests for special diets. We have recently been asked to provide a wheat free buffet for one of our customers. After research we provided an appropriate buffet which was commented on by the customers guests.
